OktoberForest

OktoberForest is an initiative of The Nature Conservancy's Restoring America's Forests program, which is working with breweries (like Dru Bru) and many other community partners to double the pace of forest restoration in the United States to benefit people, water, and wildlife.

Why?

  1. Good beer depends on good water. Beer is 90% water.
  2. Good water depends on healthy forests. 50% of our water comes from forests.
  3. Forests are in trouble. The U.S. Forest Service says half of the forested lands they manage are in need of restoration (an area the size of Oregon).
  4. Hundreds of American breweries are near or inside a damaged U.S. Forest Service watersheds.
  5. We need your help to restore these forests.
